Sewing Classes
In the Hudson Valley
Learn how to sew while repurposing
(and recycling)
Learn the basics or learn more!
Even if you've never sewn before, you'll feel comfortable in
this setting. We will start getting familiar with the sewing
machine by creating simple useable items made from repurpased
clothing and or material. We have plenty of sewing machines
here at the studios but you are welcome to bring your own and
I will show you how to use it. As we learn to use the machine
we will make some simple items.This class teaches traditional
sewing skills, reading and cutting out patterns while creating
projects with a personal touch.
We work in small groups with lots of one on one time.
If you already have some basic skills of sewing you can bring your own project to work on. or like to advance in your skills like learning how to use a serger, this class can work for you to.
