In these classes we will learn how to use a sewing machine, and also follow a pattern

For the first part of the semester we learn how to make good use out of scrap fabric and unwanted clothing by makinge a bedspread using fabric squares.

We will also make smaller projects working our way up. We will make clothing but also bags pillows stuffed animals and more. We will learn some basic elements for designing open our eyes and minds using our imagination, reusing material and vintage clothing. We will also use new fabrics of various sorts. The children are allowed to bring there own fabrics and also sewing machines if they have. We do have lots of sewing machines here in the studio but if you would like to learn and practice on your own that is fine.

These classes are for all levels from beginers to advanced.
