Welcome to the magical world of puppets

In this hands-on, curriculum-based class, the students become puppet makers and puppeteers as they each create a puppet and put that puppet into performance in our puppet youtube move.

We will together create a story make the puppets and put record a YouTube video. Each student will take home his puppet to make many more videos.

We will also learn how to make and use the puppet.

This is a class that combines making and creating with technology and acting

Even though this is a part a hands-on creative craft class it does have the benefits of an acting class which might suit and attract persons that are usually more quiet and like to work with their hands rather than their voices.
From my own experience, being a very shy person the use of my voice through a puppet and not necessary having everybody look at me was a very liberating experience. Shy person will find their voice though the puppet and have a BLAST!!!!!!!

Upcycling is our way. We will use materials that are scraps and reuse all kinds of materials that we have in the studio, students are also encouraged to bring unwanted items from home.

To be creative and and using our imagination is one of the important parts of this class. To look at everyday useless junk and finding new use for them are lots of fun and very creative a useful tool for life.
